- Graduated cylinders and beakers
- Pitchers of water
- Spoons or stirring sticks
- Trays and disposal containers
- Magnets (wrapped in plastic wrap)
- Tweezers, coffee filters, and a sieve
- Centimeter rulers
- Bowls
- Everyday items to mix (such as sand, iron filings, paperclips, erasers, coins, plastic cubes, and cotton balls)
