"I have loved having my students get this out right at the beginning of science. It keeps everything they've learned fresh in their minds as we spend several days on one topic." -Leslie

The early weeks are focused on reviewing skills and content. Because students’ background knowledge varies, I included information, defined vocabulary, and examples. Students use that information to help them answer a question.
As the weeks go on, less background information is provided, and the rigor of the questions increases to align with 7th-grade expectations.
